Terms of Use
Last updated: July 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the We Assist LLC ("We Assist") platform, a community errand marketplace. By creating an account, posting or claiming an errand, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use We Assist.
The service
We Assist connects customers who need errands completed with assistants willing to complete them. We Assist is a platform that facilitates these connections and processes payments; it is not an employer of assistants and is not a party to the agreement between a customer and an assistant.
Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use We Assist. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
Customer responsibilities
- Provide accurate errand details, valid locations, and the correct name on any order.
- Place and confirm any order you want picked up before posting the errand.
- Pay the agreed amount once an assistant accepts your errand.
- Be available to provide access or instructions needed to complete the errand.
Assistant responsibilities
- Complete accepted errands with reasonable care and on time.
- Keep location sharing enabled while an errand is in progress so the customer can track progress.
- Verify arrival at the errand location before marking it complete.
- Upload proof of delivery when the errand involves an order pickup.
Payments and fees
Customers are charged only after an assistant accepts an errand. Payments are processed by our payment provider. Assistants earn the offer amount displayed on the errand. We Assist does not provide refunds for completed errands or for the assistant's time once an errand is accepted and completed.
Prohibited uses
You may not use We Assist for any unlawful, dangerous, or sexual purpose, or to request anything that violates the rights or safety of others. We screen requests and may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
Disclaimers
We Assist is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that an errand will be claimed or completed, and we are not liable for the acts or omissions of customers or assistants.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, We Assist is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
