Data we process

• Account data: name and email.
• Errand data: descriptions, locations, timing, notes, and order names.
• Location data: your set location and live GPS while completing an errand.
• Payment data: handled by our payment provider (Base44 Payments) under PCI-DSS standards.

Legal basis

We process data to provide the service you requested, to fulfill our agreement with you, to comply with legal obligations, and with your consent where applicable (such as for live location tracking).

Data minimization

We collect only the information needed to operate the marketplace and process payments. We do not request sensitive data beyond what is necessary to complete errands.

Payment security

Card information is collected and processed by our payment provider on its secure checkout pages. We Assist does not receive or store full card numbers.

Location data

Live location is collected only while an errand you accepted is in progress, to provide tracking and verify arrival. You can stop sharing location at any time, though doing so may prevent errand completion.

Retention

We retain data only as long as needed to provide the service, maintain your errand history and receipts, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements.

Your rights

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Withdraw consent for location processing (which may affect errand completion).

Applicable laws

We aim to comply with applicable privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), where they apply to you and our processing.
